NEW YORK, NY – April 25, 2016 - The Global Awards℠ announces the 2015 Young Globals Student Competition & Internship Program award winners. The Young Globals, now in its third year, is the only college/portfolio school competition for healthcare advertising that offers students the opportunity to submit creative work and be recognized with a prestigious Global Award, and introduces students to the rewards of working in the healthcare and wellness advertising industry.
Young Globals student winners will receive the prestigious Global Award as well as paid internship with Global Awards partner sponsors, McCann Health and Ogilvy CommonHealth Worldwide for minimum of one month, based on their availability.

2015’s student winner’s entries were inspired by a creative brief that posed the challenge, “How do we make HEALTH second nature in our lives? Students were interviewed about their campaign by Young Globals sponsoring agencies’ international award-winning healthcare advertising chief creative officers Jeremy Perrott, global chief creative officer, McCann Health and Scott Watson, chief creative officer of Ogilvy CommonHealth Worldwide.
“Each group of students had their own way of interpreting the brief and in turn created exceptionally smart and creative ideas. Jeremy and I feel that our future in healthcare and advertising in general looks very promising. We should celebrate where this new wave of talent is headed and look to hire them as quickly as possible,” said Mr. Watson.
“From the process of receiving entries from around the world and considering their solutions, we arrived at our final winners, not only knowing the creative level was high, but realizing as an industry we have some exceptional talent who will produce amazing things for others to rise up to,” said Mr. Perrott. “Congratulations to the winners. The annual Young Globals competition accepts entries from students at the university level, including portfolio centers, who are studying advertising, marketing, art, design, creative writing or similar areas of creative focus.
The Young Global Award winners will accept their trophies at the 2016 Global Awards ceremony taking place on Thursday, November 17th at New York Academy of Sciences in New York City.
